From Thursday 21st – Saturday 23rd January, 120 organisations will participate at the Bahrain International Airshow, Sakhir Airbase, Kingdom of Bahrain.
And, of course, Rusada will be at the Airshow to give the Middle Eastern region an insight into its innovative product, the MRO software platform ‘Envision’.
Visitors can find us exhibiting in the UK Pavilion – hosted by Farnborough Airshow and ADS Group – located in the main exhibition feature hall.
In this hall, supply chain and small-to-medium enterprises will be given the platform to demonstrate their pioneering products and services, while enjoying a great networking opportunity.
In addition to bringing key industry players together in one place, the Bahrain International Airshow 2016 will hold a conference programme across two days, to provide a “greater focus for networking and debate”.
On, Friday 22 January experts from within the airline, airport and aerospace industries will form two panels to discuss key issues affecting the Middle East aviation industry.
The first of two conferences will discuss ‘Airlines and Passenger Experience’, from 9.30am. The panel will look at the investment in passenger experience, deregulation in Saudi Arabia, the U.S and open skies agreements, the rise of low cost carries, and the strategies that smaller carriers can employ to better compete against the three major gulf carriers.
The second session, starting at 11.15am, will focus on ‘Managing the Numbers: Stepping up to Meet the Growth Demands in Middle East Airports & Airspace’.
Here, a six-strong panel of key industry figures will discuss the challenges facing the industry in the Gulf, as well as other topics including: safety, passenger growth and whether there is a shortage of aviation skills in the region.
Then, on Saturday 23rd January, the International Air Transport Association (IATA) Standard Safety Assessment Programme (ISSA) seminar will take place.
Attendees will also be given the opportunity to meet directly with major Middle Eastern buyers of aerospace, defence and security.
And, when visitors are not attending one of the conferences, there will be a selection of rides and attractions for all to enjoy, including an opportunity to experience the CXC Flight Simulator in which you can put your flying skills to the test and pilot commercial airliners, fighter jets, private planes, and helicopters.
