Component MRO

 

ENVISION Maintenance is used to manage your base, line, and component maintenance activities as well as your inventory. Our modules allow you to digitise your operations and realise a state of paperless MRO.

Component MRO

Component MRO manages the component specific functions of maintenance, from simple single level component repair to complex major assembly overhauls. 

Maintenance tasks can be managed, assigned, and executed, while there are supporting commercial features for MRO service providers.

Component MRO has the following features...

Sales Orders

Manages all component sales both for parts and repairs. Part and repair price lists can be defined and customer discount set.

3rd Party Receipt

Allows the user to receive external components from a third-party customer. This third-party repair will be optionally linked to a sales order which will maintain all the commercial information associated with this repair. The user will be optionally prompted for component hours and cycles where relevant.

Capabilities

Allows the company to manage their repair capability listing which in turn is used by the system to define what all type of repairs can be performed.

Repair Orders

Allows the user to create internal component repair orders. The system will automatically import the task cards based on the selected repair capability and all resources and material requirements are also automatically imported into the work order. 

Repair Orders also supports the generation and management of quotations, the collection of all actual costs (and the comparison to the quoted and estimate costs) and the subsequent creation of the sales invoices.

On completion of the repair, the system will automatically generate the associated release document (8130, Form One, etc.) and the receipt of the part into serviceable inventory ready for subsequent dispatch back to the customer.

Manufacturing Orders

Allows users to create internal component manufacturing orders. Similar to repair orders, users can import the tasks, material requirements, and service requirements applicable for manufacturing the respective component. 

On completion of manufacturing, users can generate a release certificate and receipt the part into inventory in new condition.

Task Card Authoring

Provides the ability to take task cards created from OEM Maintenance Manuals and amend them as per user requirements without losing the original data from the OEM.

Users can also create pre-defined task card templates that allow you to define how cards (that are not imported from OEM SGML/XML data) are to be displayed when being executed. This includes the automatic creation of signoffs (i.e. CRS), and the authoring of signoffs, subtasks, or feedback fields which will then be applied to all cards using that template.

Task Assignment

Allows supervisors to view the activities of their team. They can then...

  • Roster team members to multiple tasks simultaneously
  • Un-Assign multiple tasks from the assigned tasks
  • Move team members to different workshop or work area
  • Prioritize team member's assigned jobs

Task Execution

Allows engineers/technicians to view the tasks that have been allocated to them. This includes both standard tasks, and those that have been authored by users. They can also start, append, and stop time bookings on multiple tasks simultaneously. Upon selecting a job, users can manage a range of functions including...

  • View attached documents (including OEM related documents)
  • Start/Finish work on the task
  • Unassign the task
  • Close the task with associated stamps & qualification checks
  • Sign-off task electronically
  • Request parts, tools, & services
  • Raise NRCs
  • Record or perform inspections
  • Draft shift handovers

 

Various security checks, such as fingerprint scan or facial recognition, can be used to verify the identity of a user before they are permitted to sign off a task.

Dispatch & Invoice

Allows the user to dispatch parts and sub-sequentially generate the sales invoice. Parts are allocated to the sales order and based on the dispatch due dates; instructions are generated for stores to prepare the shipment. Dispatches can be generated including box details and the relevant documentation created. Shipping details can also be recorded including the airway bill number etc. Invoices can then be generated based on the sales order pricing.
