If you receive task cards and work packages in PDF from your customers, you'll know that the process of recreating these in your own system and then working off two versions of the same card is extremely time consuming and inefficient.
The problem is you need to work off the format your MRO solution dictates, while your customer needs them in the format of their system.
Well now you can do both with a single card.
Introducing our new PDF Task Integrator, which allows you to upload customer task cards, or a whole work package directly into your ENVISION system.
The PDF Task Integrator is able to identify the task number, task title, trades, skills, hours and more. It then uses the identified task number to link the PDF task cards to the corresponding work order in your system, creating digital versions in the process.
If there are new tasks that weren't part of the original work order then no problem, as the PDF Task Integrator can create any new tasks automatically during the process.
As well as recognising the fields mentioned above, the PDF Task Integrator can also identify signoffs within the card and make them more functional by allowing users to designate specific skills against each signoff.
If a signoff is then missed, the user conducting the work will be given a warning, as the PDF Task Integrator knows where a signoff is expected, and validates accordingly. This helps eliminate errors and keeps you compliant.
