BOOK A DEMO

Base & Line MRO

Base & Line MRO supports the planning, assigning, and monitoring of both Base and Line maintenance activities, along with key commercial features for 3rd Party MROs, such as sales and quotations management.

It also manages the execution of maintenance tasks, and the authoring of digital task cards created from OEM Maintenance Manuals.

This allows you to completely digitise your operations and realize a state of paperless MRO.

Base & Line MRO has the following features...

Contracts

This is for Maintenance providers to manage all the contract terms associated with a customer.

Key elements of this include...

  • Contact details
  • Fixed price elements
  • Capping values
  • Labour, material, and service mark-ups
  • Payment terms
  • Fleet/aircraft/component applicability

Quotations

Used to manage all customer quotations and their subsequent approval.

Quotations can be generated either from the contract or independently and all pricing can be generated from within the quotation.

Quotations can be sub-sequentially accepted (or rejected) and converted to a sales order.

Sales Orders

Used to manage all maintenance sales. Sales orders can be generated automatically from the quotation or the contract or can be manually entered. The sales orders include all pricing details associated with the job and from here, sales invoices can be sub-sequentially generated. Work orders can be raised directly from the sales orders themselves.

Work Orders

Manages all aspects of maintenance work orders, also known as work packages. These work orders can be generated from the Fleet Management module or, in the case of MROs, either manually, from the contract, or from the sales order.

Key elements of Work Orders include...

  • Header details
  • Associated tasks
  • Sales groups
  • Planning details
  • Quotations
  • Status dashboards
  • Invoice management
  • CRS management
  • Shift handovers

Task Management

Tasks can be either manually added or imported from various sources, including Task Cards, Maintenance Forecasts, 3rd party spreadsheets, and more. Sub-Tasks can also be defined against task cards either manually or automatically during the import process.

Users also have the ability to…

  • Re-sequence tasks
  • Print tasks
  • Bulk document upload

If there are task cards that are executed together repeatedly, these can be grouped under Work Scopes, which can then easily be imported to Quotes, Sales Orders, or Work Orders.

Digital Task Cards

Provides the ability to take task cards created from OEM Maintenance Manuals and amend them as per user requirements without losing the original data from the OEM.

Options include...

  • Add new task procedures
  • Add alternate task procedures
  • Add supplement task procedures
  • Designate applicability
  • Add custom feedback fields
  • Add electronic signature

Users can also create pre-defined task card templates that allow you to define how cards (that are not imported from OEM SGML/XML data) are to be displayed when being executed. This includes the automatic creation of signoffs (i.e. CRS), and the authoring of signoffs, subtasks, or feedback fields which will then be applied to all cards using that template.

Hangar Management

Provides a visual overview of the status of all checks going through the hangar and/or hangar bays. Bays are associated with the hangar and hangars are associated with the base and multiple bases can be maintained within the system. Users can block bays from maintenance activities due to periodic maintenance etc., so work orders can't be planned. Weekends and holidays can also be viewed to improve usability for planners.

Different colours are used to show different statuses, and alerts are clearly shown against the check (both parts, tool, and labour). Users can select the work order and drill down into a more detailed Gantt chart.

Capacity Planning

Enables users to view all hangar-based capacities and perform a level of "what-if" capacity planning.

This allows you to maximize the use of human resource based on combinations of shifts, trades, qualifications, and availability.

Maintenance Scheduling

Allows the user to schedule line maintenance activities. Key functions include:

  • Using flight operations information to define ground slots
  • Using airport systems information update latest ground slots
  • Automatic creation of turn checks based on contract terms
  • Manual creation of turn checks
  • Import of deferred defects
  • Import of upcoming inspections
  • Designate maintenance tasks to teams or individuals

Turn Checks

Allows users to define a range of standard turn checks which in turn can be incorporated either into a contract or manually selected with a line check. Key functions include...

  • Turn check description
  • Tasks and task offsets
  • Labour requirements
  • Material requirements
  • Ground support equipment requirements

Task Assignment

Allows supervisors to view the activities of their team.

They can then...

  • Roster team members to multiple tasks simultaneously
  • Assign or un-assign multiple tasks simultaneously based on employee barcodes
  • Move team members to different hangar/bay or workshop or work area
  • Prioritize team member's assigned jobs

Task Execution

Allows engineers/technicians to view the tasks that have been allocated to them. This includes both standard tasks, and those that have been authored by users. They can also start, append, and stop time bookings on multiple tasks simultaneously. Upon selecting a job, users can manage a range of functions including...

  • View attached documents (including OEM related documents)
  • Start/Finish work on the task
  • Unassign the task
  • Close the task with associated stamps & qualification checks
  • Sign-off tasks electronically
  • Request parts, tools, & services
  • Request engineering support
  • Raise NRCs
  • Perform component changes
  • Record or perform inspections
  • Draft, acknowledge, and manage shift handovers

Various security checks, such as fingerprint scan or facial recognition, can be used to verify the identity of a user before they are permitted to sign off a task.
