FLEET MANAGEMENT

ENVISION Fleet Management is the heart of our solution and allows users within an airline, rotor operator or MRO environment to manage all aircraft records, associated maintenance planning and compliance.

Aviation regulations require that an operator must record a complete history of all maintenance and overhaul records of an aircraft/component and the ENVISION nGen Fleet Management solution efficiently manages these requirements.

The Fleet Management Solution is made up of the following major modules:

Module Browser

Model Configuration manages all aspects of maintaining the master configuration for a particular aircraft type, from the airframe or major assembly to individual components. The module maintains the part interchangeability rules and can also manage any life codes that are associated with a model, as well as all the penalty rules that can be applied.

Aircraft Serviceability is driven by the Fleet Serviceability Status dashboard, which provides a summary of the overall status of a fleet. A user can easily drill down into the details of any deferred defects, minimum equipment lists (MELs) or overdue inspections. In addition, details of a fleet or an individual aircraft can be explored to analyse all the relevant information, including all upcoming inspections, deferred defects, fleet/aircraft status and any associated AD/SB/EOs.

Maintenance Program manages all aspects of the maintenance program associated with an aircraft model and tail number. All revisions of the maintenance program are tracked and program comparisons are available to users, to allow them to benchmark one revision of a maintenance program with another.

Within this module, all tasks are linked to the maintenance program while associated life and execution details for activities are defined, including all part, tooling and service requirements. ENVISION nGen also supports grouping of maintenance tasks to simplify planning.

Forecasting manages all aspects of calculating when a maintenance task should be completed, as well as the creation of the associated work packs. The forecast is affected by a range of criteria including; complete fleet, specific fleet, specific tail number, specific type of maintenance task, specific type of module and specific base.

Additionally, ‘What-if’ scenario planning can be examined based on criteria such as: required aircraft availability, the impact of the forecast on hangar availability, parts and tooling and resources. Then, from the forecast, specific maintenance work packs can be generated.

OEM stores and distributes OEM documentation through ENVISION nGen, ultimately providing engineers (and other personnel) online access to critical files at the point of need.

Reliability manages all aspects of aircraft and component reliability. Alert rates are defined by the reliability of a fleet and by a range of criteria such as defect alert rates and component removal rates.

Within this module, online dashboards display a range of reliability data in graphical formats including; defect analysis, component removal rates, delays, PIREP analysis and NRC analysis. At the end of any given period, the complete reliability book can be generated from within the system.

Technical Library manages internal controlled documents, external control documents (such as component maintenance manuals) and AD/SB documents, with all documents being recorded and any revisions maintained.

Holders can be defined against documents and the system can automatically notify stakeholders and monitor acknowledgments.

In addition, AD documents can be automatically imported from regulatory websites before being assessed. Then, associated engineering orders generated and controlled.

Dent and Buckle allows the operator to maintain a 3D model of an aircraft and easily identify any dents and buckles from the graphical representation, which in turn will generate an associated defect.
