Rusada customer NHV receive first of 16 Airbus Helicopter EC175s
Thursday, December 11th was a very special date in the Rusada calendar – we were delighted to see two of our customers doing business together and taking some serious steps in what hopes to be a new era of a very successful working relationship.
Airbus Helicopters handed over two EC175s to Belgian operator NHV (Noordzee Helicopters Vlaanderen). Both Airbus Helicopters and NHV are users of Rusada’s Envision software and we couldn’t be more delighted for either party. NHV are only one of three launch operators to take delivery of the EC175. Airbus are going to deliver a further 14 EC175s to NHV. They will receive six more next year, two in 2016 and the remainder in 2017.
The current plan is for NHV to start operations in the North Sea using only one of the EC175s to begin with, while the other is positioned as back-up for the first few flights at least.
NHV is a Belgian-registered company active in the oil and gas market, primarily in the North Sea and western Africa. NHV also offers maritime services and has been flying a variety of Airbus Helicopters rotorcraft since 1997. They have been a Rusada customer and Envision user for four years.
