Switzerland, 8th June 2010 – Rusada SA, a leading provider of complex asset management software to the aerospace industry, today announces that it is renaming its aviation software solution from Enterprise to “Envision”. The change of name is timed to coincide with the launch of the On-line Analytics module focussed on providing management decision support and helping customers exploit the true value of their business data.

The new On-line Analytics module provides a management level overview in graphical format of information captured by the Envision system. It is designed to specifically focus on areas that can provide valuable insight into the company’s main business drivers. Incorporating a Key Performance Indicator (KPI) engine that can be configured to monitor company specific KPIs over various time periods, this module enables organisations to focus on meeting business targets, measuring performance and receiving critical business decision support.

 

Integrated with Envision, the On-line Analytics module gives users real-time access to graphs and KPIs covering all the main areas of the system. The ability to configure and customise alerts allows notifications to be sent as soon as thresholds are reached, allowing problems to be addressed as they arise, saving businesses both time and money.

 

Customised graphical data dashboards are provided to give managers the exact information they need, exactly when they need it. Exceptions are identified with minimal effort, allowing management to concentrate effort on addressing the most important issues, and information that was previously hidden within the wealth of data is brought sharply into focus. The powerful charting capability makes it is easy to zoom in and drill down for a closer look at a particular range of information. By simply clicking on a chart, users can quickly focus on specific information to get from an overview to detail.

 

The enhanced security of the On-line Analytics module allows access to be controlled down to the asset level; ensuring users only have access to the data they should be allowed to access. Since the module is web based, it is also possible to grant external users access to a limited set of graphs and KPIs, together with visibility of the underlying data, for a specific collection of assets.

 

The On-line Analytics module uses the latest web based technologies including Silverlight and Windows Communication Foundation (WCF) providing customers with a web based system that is as fast, responsive and as easy to use as any Windows application.
